About me

Much like the design process, my professional path has been anything but linear. I started my college career studying graphic design and switched to industrial design halfway through — fueled by my desire for more hands-on learning. My new degree program required me to declare an emphasis during the third year — I chose apparel design. Alongside my studies, I independently learned animation and programming. My first job out of college was as an AR/VR developer. Today, my focus is mainly on UX design. While my titles have changed, one theme has remained consistent:
creative problem solving.
If something interests me, I’m not afraid to try it. I enjoy the act of learning and the challenges it brings. I have an insatiable curiosity, and it is not uncommon for me to fall down rabbit holes. Sometimes it’s to scratch that curious itch — other times it results in me learning a new skill. I take pride in being able to draw from various skills and wisdom when tackling a problem.

Outside of work, you’ll find me biking, rock climbing, tending to my plants, sewing, working on home improvement projects, or learning a new skill.
My design philosophy
I believe good design is simple yet methodical. As a designer, it is my goal to create experiences and products that solve problems and delight others.
